Same here!! XD XD XD I also end up not commenting on a lot of pictures, which I feel guilty about too but when I have hundreds I only have time to comment on one or two pieces per update (like when someone updates 50 pics). I try to tell myself "My friends know I love them!"

I like to respond to messages that seem like some thought was put into them. When someone puts "Cute" or "Nice" I do appreciate the gesture, but to me it's like someone is just thinking out loud. When someone gives me a comment that looks like they are actually talking to me, then I like to respond to them. As far as journals go, I try to respond to the journals that my friends put up, but sometimes I don't know what to say to a certain situation, so it's better to not respond than to try and force words that not coming out.

Yeah I find journals easier to comment on too, unless they're something like "Yay something good happened recently and I'm so happy!" 'cuz then all I can say is "Yay! Happy day!"

"it's better to not respond than to try and force words that not coming out" <--- I learned that too, especially when someone needs help. Sometimes just spluttering out useless "advice" just makes the situation more confusing.
