I planted a sunflower and named it Zuzu
I kept him in my room where there was very little sunlight
He grew limp and crooked
And very ugly
I put him outside where there was lots of sun
He grew stronger but still droopy and crooked
I planted another sunflower and named it Zozo
And I placed Zozo next to Zuzu
Zuzu kept growing towards Zozo
Sometimes so close that they looked like they had the same pot
And I would twist Zuzu to look forward and away from Zozo
But Zuzu always grew towards Zozo
And as Zozo grew strong and tall
Zuzu grew tall too
Always towards Zozo
And Zuzu's little kink is all that remains of his crooked days
Because he found a friend to grow with
When people come over to my house and see my flowers
They ask me, "Is there something wrong with that plant?"
And I say, "No, my Zuzu just loves my Zozo."

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
